U.S. weekly crude steel production (until October 18)


Till the
 ended October 18, 2014, the United States domestic crude steel production was 1.822 million tons, capacity utilization was 75.7%. Last year, production was 1.832 million tons over the same period, capacity utilization was 76.5%. Crude steel production fell 0.5%, week growth of 1%. When the week ended October 11, 2014, the United States domestic crude steel production was 1.804 million tons, capacity utilization was 75%.

Adjusted expiring October 18, 2014, in 2014 the United States was 7706.3 tons cumulative crude steel production, capacity utilization was 77.1 percent, an increase of 0.5%. 2013 was 76.689 million tons over the same period and 77%.

When the week's crude steel production of different regions, the Northeast 211,000 tons, 670,000 tons Great Lakes, Midwest 222,000 tons, 630,000 tons in southern and western 89,000 short tons. The statistics cover about 90% of the nation's crude steel production capacity.
